Nestled into the hillside overlooking central Queenstown sits this modern city-like apartment designed for entertaining family and friends. We worked closely with our clients on all areas of the build and interior design consultancy. The design required creative ideas and thorough spatial planning due to the smaller spaces within the home. Custom-designed bunk beds with added storage underneath meant more room for family and friends, while also offering storage solutions.
Keeping the colour palette limited in both the selection of materials and furnishings, Milne Reddell has given this apartment an intentionally understated feel to allow the views to gain attention. The light-filled spaces meant the interior could carry a warm, slightly masculine feel without being overpowering in its execution. The black oak and honed marble kitchen give reference to this.
The selection of furniture, art and accessories were carefully considered, giving form, function and colour to each area of the apartment while maintaining cohesiveness with the selected interior finishes.
